Fashion comes and goes, but style is eternal.
My style is very casual chic. I stick to neutrals, basics are my BFF, and comfy is always my number 1 priority. I like to buy pieces that can be worn in a variety of ways, dressed up or dressed down, and make me feel my best. I think this outfit says it all: confidence.
A few tips to make the most out of your wardrobe while still being YOU:
- Pick a color scheme and try to stick to those while shopping. I buy most of my clothes in black, grey, tan, white, olive, or pink. This makes it really easy when putting outfit together, because all of my clothes are cohesive.
- Style the same basic piece in different ways. Y'all know my signature piece is a good pair of black leggings. In my opinion, they are classic, chic, and comfy (YAS PLEASE!) and the best part...they can be worn so. many. ways. I would pair this exact outfit I'm wearing in this post with black leggings and over the knee boots for an entirely different look.
- Add patterns and color with accessories. Over the years and through many fashion mishaps, I have learned it is best to invest in the basics. Quality over quantity people. Splurge on the pieces you will wear over and over again (black leggings, jeans, basic tops, leather jackets, boots, ect.) and add in the fun later. I like to add color, texture and patterns through statement jewelry, a bold scarf, or killer shoes.
Hope these tips help, babes. Comment down below what your style is. Are you more of a laid back casual like me or do you prefer more dressy outfits?
