"The most important relationship you'll ever have is the relationship you have with yourself." Being a young woman in the 21st century can be hard. Real hard. We have magazines and social media telling us what we should look like and getting sucked in to the comparison game is as easy as eating that extra slice of pizza. In the end, we feel like shit. 

Let me just say, if you're struggling with confidence, you're not going to wake up one morning and suddenly love everything about yourself. It takes time; it was until I was 24 and after I spent two whole years dedicated to this journey that I finally felt worthy and confident in who I was. Something that really helped me (and also something that I teach my students) was affirming myself. Either every morning or every night (I like the morning because it get's my day started off on a positive note), look in the mirror and say 3-5 affirmations out loud. You may not believe what you're saying, but give it some time and you will. Here are some of my favorite ones. Obviously, alter them to fit your needs, but I hope you get some inspiration from this. Here's to loving ourselves more!
